Frequently Asked Questions About School Trips in Madrid

Everything a teacher or coordinator needs to know before organising a school trip with Tour Time.

Levels, visits and content

  • Tour Time organises school trips in Madrid adapted to all levels: Primary Education, Secondary School, High School and University. Each visit is designed according to the group's level, the school curriculum and the teacher's educational goals, so the content and language vary significantly between a visit for primary school pupils and one for high-school students.

  • Tour Time offers school trips to Madrid's main museums and monuments: Prado Museum, Reina Sofía Museum, Royal Collections Gallery, Royal Palace, as well as historic walking routes through Habsburg and Bourbon Madrid. It also organises day excursions to Toledo, Segovia, Ávila and El Escorial.

  • Yes. Tour Time's guides are official tourist guides accredited by the Comunidad de Madrid with specific experience working with school groups. They adapt their delivery, pace and dynamics to the age of the students, using educational resources, anecdotes and questions that keep the group's attention throughout the trip.

Service, logistics and booking

  • The service includes an accredited official guide, audio guides for large groups, public liability insurance and logistical coordination of the visit. The trip is customised according to the school's needs: schedule, number of students, language and content to cover. Pricing is provided through a personalised, no-obligation quote.

  • We recommend contacting Tour Time at least two to three weeks in advance to guarantee guide availability and ticket booking for museums or monuments. For visits with limited capacity, such as the Royal Collections Gallery or the Royal Palace, more advance notice is needed.

  • School trips are usually conducted in Spanish, but Tour Time can offer visits in English, French or Italian for bilingual schools or international institutions. This is confirmed at the time of requesting the quote. For a language not listed, feel free to ask us about availability.

  • To request a quote, fill in the contact form on tourtime.es, indicating the education level, number of students, target date and the visit or route of interest. Tour Time's team responds with a customised proposal tailored to the school's needs.
